Cinema4D

This software is not a voxel tool in itself, but it’s a powerful 3D multipurpose editing tool that I use a lot in my pro and personal projects. Of course, you can achieve a similar result by using free softwares such as Blender, but since I’m not used to them, I’ll stick to my favorite (C4D) during my tutorials.

License : C4D is not free, it’s a pro tool made by Maxon but you can find it in various versions (with various costs).

Voxel effect Plugins:
One way to obtain voxel effect in C4D is to use this plugin from Robert Leger – in addition to Mograph, it transforms any mesh into a voxel model quite fast.
